Access Provider Terms of Service

Welcome to the MCC Access Platform.
The Access Platform connects verified healthcare service providers with patients and authorized clinical orders through secure digital workflows.
These Terms apply to all professional Access modules, including pharmacies, laboratories, imaging centres, nursing services, and future provider services.
Profession-specific responsibilities are described in your applicable Participation Agreement.
1. Eligibility
You may use an Access module only if:
You are properly licensed or authorized where required;
Your organization and users have been verified by MCC;
Registration information remains accurate and current.
2. Platform Services
Access modules enable providers to:
Receive authorized clinical orders;
Verify patients;
Fulfil healthcare services;
Record fulfilment activities;
Coordinate care securely within MCC.
MCC provides technology services and does not supervise professional practice.
3. Professional Responsibility
Providers remain solely responsible for:
Professional decisions;
Service quality;
Compliance with applicable laws;
Documentation accuracy;
Patient confidentiality.
4. Clinical Order Access
Access to prescriptions, laboratory requests, imaging requests, and other clinical orders is governed by the Clinical Order Access Policy.
Providers must access only those orders they are authorized to fulfil.
5. Payments
Platform fees, settlements, transaction fees, and service-specific payment arrangements are governed by applicable Participation Agreements and payment policies.
6. Acceptable Use
Providers must not:
Access records without authorization;
Share user accounts;
Misrepresent professional credentials;
Upload malicious software;
Misuse patient information;
Interfere with platform operations.
7. Privacy and Security
Providers must comply with MCC's:
Privacy Policy;
Security Policy;
Data Stewardship & Health Record Policy.
All platform activity may be logged and audited.
8. Suspension or Termination
MCC may suspend or terminate access where:
Professional eligibility cannot be verified;
These Terms or applicable Participation Agreements are violated;
Patient safety, privacy, or platform security is compromised.
9. Relationship with MCC
Participation in an Access module does not create an employment, partnership, agency, or franchise relationship with MCC.
10. Changes
MCC may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, technology, or platform services.
